Research Interests
Dr. Kondolf is a fluvial geomorphologist specializing in applications of geomorphology and hydrology to environmental river management, with emphasis on management of sediment, channel form, and aquatic and riparian habitat. Dr. Kondolf is the author of over one hundred papers and reports on these topics, and he has provided expert testimony on these topics to committees of the US Congress, the California State Senate, regulatory boards of the State of California, local government agencies, and courts.
